My Pregnancy: 39 weeks and counting…

With only 2 more days until my due date, I decided this will be my last post until Baby Brickhouse makes her appearance and is snug as a bug in her new home. Needless to say, my pregnancy journey has been a crazy one and it’s going to be exciting to watch so many of my newly pregnant friends embark on.

I have my fingers crossed that my appointment this week show signs that labor is near. I’m focusing on the power of visualization and positive thinking and telling this little nugget that she will be here before the week is over. With our bags packed, food prepped, laundry done, and the baby’s room completed, I can honestly say we’re ready! David’s even doing some nesting of his own and knocking out random projects around the house and getting ahead with work so he can enjoy his time with her when she arrives too.

So, life as we know it will continue until our party of two becomes a part of three. Am I scared of labor? Not at all. It’s gotta happen and to be honest, I’m excited for it. I can’t wait to meet this little human I’ve been growing for over 9 months now. I can’t wait to hold her, kiss her and dance around the house with her. This is going to be an incredible experience and I’m looking forward to becoming a happy, healthy and fit role model for her to look up to in the years to come.
